Seems like everyone's good to go for Thursday and Friday. Here are all the details for the rehearsal and recording, please read this e-mail thoroughly and reply (details at the bottom)!
Please find attached PDFs of the three pieces that we will sing and record together, look these over and learn a part (...or two or three. Time will tell which part you end up singing on the recording, but learning the parts should help you to get acquainted with the songs). There are 4 parts on "O Morning" and "Forever Falling" just 3 parts on "Poem For The Pyre." Please print these out if you are able and bring them with you on Thursday (if you are NOT able to print, let me know and I'll be sure to have copies for you). Women, you're singing the notes on the treble staves. Men, you're singing the notes on the bass staves. You'll notice also that there are no lyrics. That's because you'll just be singing "ooh" "ah" or "la".
Please mark your calendars and plan to be here no later than 7:30 and please be punctual. I actually don't know half of you that well... so if you know that you are prone to being late, please plan to be at my place by 7 or 7:15. There are 7 people involved on this and I want to be sure that everyone's time and schedules are respected.
This is all happening at my home address in Washington Heights. I'll be at my place early both nights, probably much earlier than 7 even. So if you want to come by early to get some extra rehearsal time with me, or even just to hang out, I'm game.
Please reply to this email with your preference of soprano/alto (females), tenor/bass (males). Just so I know what I'm working with.
Thanks again for joining me for this project, it's gonna be great!
