in honor of Buy Nothing Day, I am offering my music for FREE to any and all who should ask. My music is always free for streaming on myspace, facebook, last.fm, and various other online venues. But for the next 24 hours (til noon Saturday), I'm offering FREE downloads for easy listening:
This is a single I released in May 2010. The song was inspired by the book Colossians Remixed and my experience at the SOAW Vigil at Ft Benning last year. It laments the fact that in the US we live in luxury, excess, and relative peace at the expense of the poor around the world. There is no better day to remember this fact than Buy Nothing Day. Celebrate by getting this song for FREE!
Originally produced as a gift to my mother, this album of classic Christmas tunes comes just in time for the season.
Though it was recorded in the fall of 2006, I released it to the world for the first time last winter.
Get it for FREE on this most special Buy Nothing Day and enjoy the gift that keeps on giving!
My debut original effort released in July 2009, this album represents a huge triumph over the catastrophes that befell me in the spring of 2008. You can follow the emotional and existential progression as I overcame deep debilitating depression, lamented love lost, and possibly used other great examples of alliteration.
This album is yet my proudest achievement EVER and I would be honored to give it to YOU this Buy Nothing Day.
WHY DOES THERE ALWAYS HAVE TO BE A CATCH?!
I'm trying to move away from conventional ways of thinking about time, work, thought, and effort. There is more to life than turning it all into a commodity.
Just e-mail me with a cheerful holiday message and let me know which of these you would like. Then the music is yours, free of obligation. I will be sure that you have your hands on some GioSafari music post-haste!
If you want to contribute to my music or travels as I spread a message of peace, love, and understanding - Eagles & Snowbirds tour starts tomorrow! - then please feel free to make a personal donation on paypal to email@example.com. Or else you can just buy my music on iTunes... but you'll have to wait til today is through. Buying music would not be consistent with Buy Nothing Day at all.
