The performances will mostly be free and I'll sing songs about radical love, generosity, and living.
The first two shows of my tour are to be held at venues I played on the VVOT Tour. They are such great venues that I've also booked them for the Eagles & Snowbirds tour in December!
Firestorm Cafe & WonderRoot

David Rovics will be the headliner for that show, he's a world-renowned protest singer and songwriter. This is a huge privilege and opportunity for me and I'm pretty darn stoked!
From Asheville I'm headed to Atlanta where I'll be couch surfing and playing a show at WonderRoot on Tuesday Nov 16. This venue is also pretty darn amazing, it serves as a community art and education space. They have a digital media room, recording studio, library, dark room, ceramic studio, and community garden and have regular courses on all of the above!
I just might have to model my Kitchen Sink after this place.
That night I'm sharing the stage with Hosannas, Pretty Bird, and Green Gerry.
Then I may or may not be playing Thursday night at a fundraiser for SOAW, the organization hosting an epic vigil at Ft Benning next weekend.
SOAW Vigil at Ft Benning
The School of the Americas (SOA), in 2001 renamed the “Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation,” is a combat training school for Latin American soldiers, located at Fort Benning, Georgia...
Over its 59 years, the SOA has trained over 60,000 Latin American soldiers in counterinsurgency techniques, sniper training, commando and psychological warfare, military intelligence and interrogation tactics. These graduates have consistently used their skills to wage a war against their own people. Among those targeted by SOA graduates are educators, union organizers, religious workers, student leaders, and others who work for the rights of the poor. Hundreds of thousands of Latin Americans have been tortured, raped, assassinated, “disappeared,” massacred, and forced into refugee by those trained at the School of Assassins.
In light of this reality, an annual vigil has been held at Ft Benning by SOAWatch since 1990. I have participated as spectator for the past two years. This time, I'm getting on the stage!
I'll be performing at the Conference Center in Columbus, GA on Friday Nov 19 and at the solemn vigil on the military base, Sunday Nov 21.
On Friday night I will also be leading a workshop about how to better love, serve, and understand the homeless in our midst.

Then I have just a couple days to relax with family for Thanksgiving before I hit the road again on the Eagles & Snowbirds tour with Noah Eagle!
