Now I'm back in NYC. I had planned to be back by September 4, the anniversary of my move to New York last year. I hosted a tour finale show, anniversary celebration, freegan potluck dinner, and photo slideshow at my apartment in Harlem. Chris Faroe and Joanlie Shiah joined me, playing great sets and bringing out the masses. My apartment was pretty crowded, but I think everyone had a great time!
There is hardly a greater feeling than to be home (though traveling free on the open road is a close second ;) The past six weeks have been quite the journey with their fair share of adventure, danger, thrills, and fun. I have so many people (accomplices) to thank for their help, hospitality, rides, generosity, advice, friendship, food and/or cooking expertise, support, and love. If you are one of those people, thank you! I could not have done it without you.
Much of my journey is accounted for in the previous entries, though I still have much to post: blogs reporting how I got from Chicago back to NYC, new pics and video, and more! I hope to have all of this material up within a week's time, please be patient.
I love you all and thank you for caring about my life, career, and story. I hope that you have enjoyed what you've read so far and that you have been encouraged and inspired to follow your dreams and to walk (hitchhiking, perhaps?) the road less traveled by, even if walking down such roads (those of peace or love, for example) is deemed illegal! In such cases, I hereby give credence to all anarchy for vagrants & vagabonds, outlaws & thieves! Peace.
